Sustainable development is failing but there are alternatives to capitalism

The authors, all well known voices in movements that promote alternatives to capitalism, criticise current and past environmental, economic and social politics. In the context of this critique they describe existing alternative narratives, movements, ideas, such as: buen vivir, ubuntu, radical ecological democracy or ecological swaraj and degrowth.
